The Pursies

Sometimes, I wish I was a kitty. The last two days have been rather cold in Toronto: right now it’s -13C (or 9º in that old Fahrenheit scale). Our response (mine and Tim’s) is that we have to make sure the car is working, the heat is hot, the humidity in the house is high enough, and our sweaters are nearby. The kitties? Now ours aren’t the hard-bred type experienced with winter like other Canadian cats. Ours were adopted and imported from Arkansas. And their response to the cold is obvious (see pictures below). Much though they fight and hiss and threaten most of the time, they know how to react when things get tough.

Don’t you wish people were more like that?
