Sharing Beer

One of the nice things about volunteering to help someone move is that often you’re blessed with whatever extra “stuff” they might be wanting to dispose of. We have a friend who will be heading back to Newfoundland in a month or so, and she has arranged to give most of her belongings to students who are arriving: the next generation of students, in once sense. I helped a friend arrange for a move out west this week, and although he’ll be returning in a few months he wants to cut down his “stuff” to a minimum. The beer at right was one thing he wanted to get rid of.

There were a variety of types of beer in the basket (which I think Tim liked more than the beer). One was a Portuguese variety, so I celebrated by having my Portuguese egg tart for desert with a Portuguese beer. Quite the combination. I don’t think Tim approved.
