I just had to get in a reference to my techie side. I was taken by an article yesterday: “15 programming languages you need to know in 2015”. (Mashable, 2015) Not sure I see value to them all: but I was pleased to see that I’ve actively programmed in ten of them, in different parts of my career. (I had hoped Fortran would be on the list, but no…) The language with which I have the most experience, Perl, still makes the grade, but a couple are brand new to me. With my current directions professionally, I think “R” will have to be next.
