Next Monday May 9 the Premier of the province, Kathleen Wynne, will appear as a guest at my church, St. Johns York Mills. She is the leader of the party that It will be an evening that will focus on social justice. She will be speaking about her perspective on the topic and how it impacts our province. The audience will then have a chance to ask questions and to explore how public policy affects our most vulnerable citizens. The evening is being presented by the church and our partner organization, Voices For a Just Society.
Unfortunately, I have prior commitments and will not be able to attend. But I hope to encourage others who I know to participate. I think it should be an excellent evening and would love to hear others’ descriptions of the event. Premier Wynne is one of the most influential people in the province (and possibly our country): rarely do we get the chance for such a discussion on these issues.
